The cottage lies hidden up a tree-lined private drive at the entrance to Argal Manor. It is totally secluded within its own good-sized lawned garden, leading to woodland. The sunny patio area has barbecue, tables and garden furniture. There is parking for two cars.The attractive, single-storey cottage has substantial granite walls under a slate tiled roof.The accommodation has, like the rest of Argal Manor and its fine gardens, been well modernised and cared for. There is night storage heating and a log-burning stove, fitted carpets and the main rooms have been double glazed with sealed units.

Lounge: (15 x12) Double aspect with views over the garden, inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove. Comfortably furnished with built-in cupboards and display units. The sofa converts into a bed for occasional additional guests (small extra charge) Colour TV/video, cassette/radio CD player, telephone, plenty of books, information leaflets and games provided. Guide book about the cottage and book for guests' recommendations, comments and suggestions.

Bedroom 1: Double room with two 3ft beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps - hairdryer provided.

Bedroom 2: Flexible furniture - can be single bed only, two single beds or single bed and cot. Wardrobe and small chest of drawers, bedside lamp.

Kitchen/breakfast room: Very well equipped with fitted Shaker style units with beechwood work surfaces - electric cooker/extractor fan, microwave, fridge and airing cupboard. Table and chairs with seating for four - high chair available. There is a fridge/freezer, washing machine and separate drier located in the storage shed adjoining the kitchen. Iron and ironing board provided. Outside games and beach equipment are also stored here.

A rear hall leads from the kitchen to the separate WC with wash hand basin.
Bathroom: White suite with panelled bath, hand- held shower, wash hand basin and heated towel rail - baby bath available.

Beds have duvets (blankets also available) and are made up for you. Linen and towels are included. Baby equipment is available. We offer a welcome pack and when available -seasonal organic vegetables from our kitchen garden and will shop in advance if required. Baby sitting can sometimes be arranged.

Electricity, hot water and telephone provision is included in the price - please leave monies for calls made. Mobile reception can be patchy. We leave some logs and kindling which we ask you to replace if used - local garages stock these.
All our properties are non-smoking properties. We encourage recycling. One small dog can be accommodated - by prior arrangement (small charge)
